Nike —
Just Play
Global production as big as the players on the field

Nike —
Just Play
One-on-one pickup in Horner Park at 8:30pm, under lights. No one’s watching but it feels as big as any game. No stadium, no crowd, just play.
This happens across the globe at all hours, people reaching personal bests, perfecting a golf swing, lacing up cleats. We teamed up with Nike to capture this moment on an astronomical scale, setting them up to fuel their stories across generations, geographies, and multitudes of sport.

The Ask

Define and create a seasonal content approach to unify the look and feel across Nike categories and collections, creating efficiencies while celebrating each subculture’s individuality.

Go Wide
Nike has always been more than just a sneaker. They’re a cultural instigator and are in constant conversation with their audience. We took this insight and focused our approach on capturing the many facets of the brand’s reach while unifying its vision on a grand scale.
The Idea
Capture a wide breadth of sport in action - emotions (and sweat, and swagger) and all.
Diverse Sport Diverse Stories
Instead of drawing from one category or type of athlete, we cast for maximum diversity, reflecting the boundless nature of sport. And because Just Play took place during a World Cup year, we knew the world was looking at soccer. While it was winter in North America, we wanted to capture its global energy and vetted the possibilities beyond borders.

We developed and delivered multiple seasons of a Global Style Guide for Nike after building the foundational playbook that set the tone for delivering best-in-class creative. From location scouts to directors to talent, we leveraged our global network of producers to collaborate seamlessly on a hyper local scale across a global stage. This required us to be nimble, compassionate partners, with built-in trust as our flag, resulting in frictionless shoots where the story is always the hero.
Big Love
Integrated Partners
We took the reins on creative and production creative leadership, collaborating with multiple teams of Nike Stakeholders across twelve categories. Part of our mission was to connect the dots across the organization, ensuring alignment and making sure the campaign’s vision was cohesive, purposeful, and reflected Nike’s diverse reach.
