The brief for this running assignment had two components. First, we were hired to produce a live event to magnify the release of the new SolarBOOST by adidas. Second, we were tasked with creating original content to support an immersive consumer experience at said event. Both parts came with a unique set of challenges that we navigated in stride, in the midst of compressed timelines as well as little hiccups imposed by mother nature.
This Boston-based event required careful attention as we managed the sourcing, fabrication, and install of a 28-foot geodesic dome in Copley Square – overlapping graduation weekend festivities. Our prep window was full of high-speed winds, unpredictable rain patterns, and several roadblocks presented by the permitting office. Our agency and technology partners were up for the challenge, and we worked closely to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience.
