With the launch of Amazon’s Fire HD 8 Tablet set, Revery was tapped to partner in creating content to support the worldwide go-to-market effort. Our photography was to stay true to the style previously established for the Fire Tablet category: to walk the line between a modern home and conceptual studio environment, and to use bold colors and intentional propping to elevate the product.
Video was an opportunity to push the creative boundaries past previous launches for the category. Amazon proposed showing a connected house with talent seamlessly transitioning between rooms. A tight-turn delivery date was set and we brought on Director Jesse Rosten to bring this initial idea to a boarded and actionable shot list quickly.
Using a motion control robot with practical and stitched set builds, we captured video assets across a two-day shoot, followed by three days focused on photography. Our final push across the finish line in post led us through in-house editorial and VFX work to a :60, :30 and international edits with a half dozen languages. Our photography was retouched and delivered to round out the asset library.
