Kicking-off its year-long Creative All-Star Series, Converse brought together local and global artists in Chicago and London to launch a campaign platform to promote cultural progression through creativity. We helped bring this vibrant vision to life during NBA All-Star weekend. For the 72-hour event, we created content around NBA athletes, artists, musicians, fashion designers, and influencers – all celebrating creation with the consumer at the center.
We arrived in Chicago with cameras in hand to an empty warehouse coming to life: art installations, basketball courts, bleachers, stages, and storefronts. Always with an eye on the stories unfolding, we flew between live performances by Da Baby and Roddy Ricch, speeches by Julius “Dr. J.” Erving, workshops by Joshua Vides, and of course, on-court hoops. Staying focused, flexible, and balancing on the edge of a dime, our team crafted recap content for real-time distribution. And that’s the beauty of creative production – when complex logistics, dynamic coordination, and detailed minutiae become invisible – what’s left is a seamless experience of humans coming together in celebration of creativity.
